To all my fellow non color wearing fashion lovers out there, I see you. I actually only wore black for about 8 years.
I don't know why, I just decided one day I didn't feel right in colorful clothing.
Then about two years ago I decided to start wearing shades of white and I cant believe how much I love it. I just feel so luxurious every time I in all white, even yoga clothes.
White outfits just have an effortless look of luxury to them. The pieces don't have to be expensive to look expensive.
They just need to be well styled if you wanna look like a million bucks.
So let's get into it and look at some textures and how to pair them to get a well styled white outfit with texture that will look amazing.

The trick is to mix textures if you can. It will give a feeling or depth to your outfit. pairing leather with softer materials like cashmere or denim with silk. Also matching the tones to compliment one another like light cream color with a stark white in two different materials can be very luxe looking.
I love button ups for Piecing together a white outfit with texture. You can use it as a light jacket in the winter or an extra layer of texture in the winter. I like to pair my softer silk button ups with crop tops that are a knit texture to mix it up.

When it comes to bottoms not everyone wants to wear white bottoms. So i have a few other shades of white that can be more flattering.
With white bottoms the mian thing is to pay attention to the thickness of the material. No one wants to be caught in see through pants.
I think its safe to say having a pair of off white leather pants is a must in any wardrobe.
They go great with chunky long sweaters in the winter and look amazing with a crop top and silk blouse (like I mentioned before) in the summer.
Another must have is a pair of high waisted slacks. This type of pant is totally in style right now and the possibilities for styling are never ending. High waisted shorts are great too for a chic brunch time look.
I would pair these textures with more knitted textures for tops and maybe suede or matte leather shoes to complete a white outfits with texture.

Crop tops are always in fashion and they are a great way to add a layer to your white outfit with texture.
I like to wear a solid silk type crop top and pair it with a sweater of blazer in the tones of white but with a pattern on it so it gives the outfit more depth.
High waisted pants make a great pairing with crop tops because the height of the waist helps cover up some of the skin to keep with an elegant look.
Also for tops I really love a high neck line like a halter top teamed with a high waisted pant or short.
This will really help to make you look taller, especially if its all clothing in different shades of white and a nude shoes to elongate your legs.

Jackets I feel are the extra thing that can really make or break a textured outfit.
For jackets I try to go with the opposite of what I'm wearing underneath.
So if my top is white tones but has a pattern I will wear a solid color jacket maybe in a tone that is intertwined in the pattern on the top to accentuate the pattern. Then vice versa if the shirt under is solid.
Also with jackets you can get away with more unique textures. Like this feathery faux fur one here.
Normally this type of jacket would be a daring choice but paired with a casual knit crop top and white denim jeans it tones it down a lot.
But still while keeping the feel of luxury. A perfect outfit for a day date or and upscale girls day.
Then pair it with a cream silk slip dress that's just a shade darker and add some gold tone jewelry to warm up the whole look and make it dressy.
I would also add a super soft cashmere scarf and gloves to give it even more texture and drama in the winter.

When it comes to creating an amazing white outfit with texture, accessories play a major part.
For example a cream colored thick cable knit beanie can soften a stark white long wool coat.
You can add a silk scarf for a touch extra texture and tone to a solid white dress or purse.
Or an off white heel can pair really well with a white bohemian loose knit summer dress.
Texture texture texture. Thats the trick! The more textures the better sometimes.
Especially in the snow, it's much trickier to get the layers, tones and textures in the summer time.
Thats where accessories really help.
